The Honors Student Advisory Council (HSAC) is the student-elected, student-governed body that organizes service events and activities for all honors students. HSAC’s mission is to foster a spirit of service throughout the honors community. Typically, elections for HSAC are held toward the end of the spring semester. See below for the members of this year’s council.

Council Members for 2022-2023
Position Descriptions
- Vice-President: Serves as president in their absence, monitors attendance at HSAC events, monitors HSAC bylaws and holds members accountable, assists service coordinator in planning and executing service events, becomes president in their second year. This office is a two-year academic commitment.
- Communications Coordinator: Takes minutes at each HSAC meeting, advertises all HSAC events and assists Service Coordinator in planning and executing service events. This office is a one-year academic commitment.
- Finance Coordinator: Maintains and reports HSAC budget, plans and monitors fundraising needs, assists Service Coordinator in planning and executing events. This office is a one-year academic commitment.
- Service Coordinator: Serves as contact person for all service projects and community agencies, presents and coordinates all service events (at least 8 each year, in cooperation with the rest of the officers). This office is a one-year academic commitment.
