At EKU, you'll find a friendly and inclusive learning environment, a beautiful campus, faculty and staff dedicated to your success, and plentiful opportunities. A campus visit is a great way to see Eastern Kentucky University first-hand, however, we do have several options. Check them out below!
COVID-19 Update
Effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, EKU will require face coverings inside all campus
buildings for vaccinated and unvaccinated students, faculty, staff, vendors/contractors,
and guests.
On-Campus Visit
Each of our campus visits last approximately 1.5 hours and are designed to give you a detailed view of our university. Your visit will begin with an admissions overview followed by walking tour led by a current EKU student.
School Visit
Interested in bringing a group of students from your school to campus? Want a custom visit? We welcome high school groups and these are scheduled based on your availability. Click below to begin the registration process!
Transfer Visit
Transferring institutions could be a great option for you! These visits are similar to our on-campus visits, except our Student Outreach and Transition Office (SOTO) will begin with an overview followed by a walking tour led by an EKU student.
Saturday Visit
Our Saturday visits are very simliar to our regular, on-campus visits. These provide flexiblity to students and guests who cannot make it during the week! Each visit begins at 11:00 AM. Check out the avaliable dates by registering below!
Twilight Tours

Planning Your Arrival
Parking/Check-in
You will need a free visitor parking pass (except during the summer). Please visit NuPark to register for one. You will be prompted to create a username and password. You can then enter your license plate, make, and model of your vehicle.
Park Drive (closest to building): Turn off of Lancaster Ave. You can set your GPS to 216 Park Drive, Richmond, KY 40475. There are diagonal spaces for visitors on the right. The Whitlock Building is the
building directly in front of these spaces. The Welcome Center is on the 1st floor
(160). If these are full, you can park in Alumni Coliseum.
Alumni Coliseum lot: Set your GPS to 641 Eastern Bypass Richmond, KY 40475. 641 Eastern Bypass, Richmond, KY 404. You will turn into the Coliseum lot at traffic light #6. There are designated spaces
in this lot for visitors on the right - please look for the signs. Walk to the left
of Alumni Coliseum toward the water tower following the signs to the Whitlock Building.
The Welcome Center is on the 1st floor (160).
